Can't seem to get the right mix

I'm still a flavor rookie, so take this with a grain of salt. But mixing this at a reduced ratio of 2.5ml VG with 1ml flavor, it's still tastes very "lysol" like to me. I can see how it could be better, and will report and increase rating when I figure it out. Maybe .5ml to 2.5ml and .5 of candy base...
