Choosing your All-Day-Vape
Posted by
onWhen I say Vaping has changed my life, which many people might think sounds quite exaggerated, I really mean it. There are so many vices out in the world that can make our lives harder and health worsen. With so many of these vices out there, it’s nice being able to cut out one of mine. Smoking is an extremely hard habit to quit, as we all know. Everyone has their reasons to quit, health, children, money, and the part about how terrible and gross it is. Yet a lot of people have a tough time actually quitting. So many people also have a hard time with change in general, as much as they may want to quit, quitting one habit and replacing it with an alternative is still a lot harder for them. Many people will decide it’s time to stop smoking cigarettes and make the switch, spend the money, and start vaping instead, and then go straight back to cigarettes. One thing that I believe to be one of the best and surest ways to quit and stick with vaping is the E-liquid. There are so many choices as far as flavors, nicotine levels, and base options. To me, this is one of the most important things about vaping. Yes, hardware is all different, and can perform better as well but without the right E-liquid; it’s going to be much harder to stick with it.
1st. Finding a Flavor
When it comes to picking flavors, do NOT pick a flavor that is in your opinion, “OK.” I always ask people, “What is something that is your guilty pleasure?” It doesn’t matter if its coffee or candy, desserts or cigars. Some people still love the taste of Tobacco. As long as you can find a flavor that you will want more than a cigarette. Sticking with a flavor that you love and that you don’t get to indulge in very often is an awesome way to ensure that you will use your E-cigarette more. Always sample, either online or in a shop that way you can find the one that works best for you. Remember, everyone is different and one person’s ADV (All Day Vape) isn’t always someone else’s.
2nd. Choosing a Nicotine Level
This one can be a bit trickier to master. When coming off cigarettes, it’s important to know that there are so many chemicals in cigarettes that force your body to absorb every ounce of nicotine that they contain, that E-liquid does NOT contain. Also every cigarette is different; they can contain different levels of nicotine as well. Read up on the kind you personally use to figure out what level you are absorbing with each cigarette. Quantity is also in play here, People that are going through 2-packs a day are probably going to need a bit more nicotine than the people who only have less than a pack a day. If you ever have any questions about what amount you may need to successfully make the switch, ask our staff at Velvet Vapors. Getting a few inputs would be a good idea just in case.
3rd. Choosing a Base Ratio
Your “Base,” is made up of VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and PG (Propylene Glycol). VG is what gives you more “vapor.” PG is what mimics the “throat hit,” sensation you would get when you have a cigarette. If you are unsure about the VG%/PG% ration that will work best for you, call our staff at Velvet Vapors to help you find what ratio will work best for you, regarding your personal vaping needs and keeping the hardware you are using in mind.Older styles, such as pro-tanks and CE4 models, work best with a higher PG ratio. Sub-tanks work best on a diluted VG base or an 80vg/20pg blend. Drippers may prefer undiluted VG.
